GARDENS
The climate on the Roseland is a bit of a law unto itself
and this has greatly influenced the gardening which, in many
cases has a sub-tropical feel. Apart from the well known
National Trust gardens indicated below, (which we do recommend)
please don’t leave without visiting a little, but really
super small private garden up the road from towards St Mawes.
Poppy
Cottage Garden is a true labour of love; Dave and Tina
have created an inspirational garden behind their dolls-house
of a cottage. It is now part of the coveted National
Garden Society’s Yellow Book.
The next nearest garden that many people miss in the phlethora
of famous ones is Lamorran
Gardens tucked into the hill in St Mawes.
