Abigail was born in Sussex but has had a life-long love of Cornwall. She finally moved in 2005 to (ostensibly) work at Rick Stein’s restaurant but in reality to be nearer to her Cornish boyfriend, Jeremy! They married in the summer of 2007 and with a brief stay in nearby Mitchell moved to Tregony the following year.

Their first Christmas at Lynwood was celebrated by the birth of baby Megan!

Jeremy has lived locally all his life, and now works as a land agent with Smiths Gore incorporating Stratton & Holborow in Truro. With his love of the countryside and all things Cornish he is an excellent resource for local information.      

You will also be welcomed at Lynwood by Henri who, strictly speaking is Jeremy’s working gun dog, but with the influence of married life has become most domesticated and soppy. Latterly Henri’s duties out shooting have declined and he is instead trying to be a role model for a new four legged friend.  This is proving quite a task as Dylan, a bouncy Cocker Spaniel who joined the family last winter, is still a baby and bit dotty - so we will forgive him the occasional misdemeanour.

Abigail hopes one day to have chickens at Lynwood, but at the moment a vegetable garden is the first priority. With such a busy household Abigail regrets that they are unable to accommodate visitors' dogs in the house, you are however most welcome to bring pets if they can sleep in your car.
